History
Windmill Engineering Co is celebrating 20 years 1992- 2012.
However the White family has been involved in windmills since 1920. Fred White my father began his career in windmills when he left school to work at the local blacksmiths coach builders motor garage and machinery agency. And of course they sold and serviced windmills. This was at Greenethorpe NSW.
In 1930 Fred White took over the business incorporating blacksmithing tank making and windmills.
In this period there were lots of new installations and repairs so windmills became a major part of this business. 1948 Fred White junior left school to join his father in the business.This father and son team ran until 1956 when Fred White junior left to start a business in the Tullibigeal Ungarie Condoblin districts of NSW.
I joined my father in 1964 when I left school and I have never left this industry for any length of time I enjoy all aspects of running Windmill Engineering Co and look forward to the daily challenges.
So Windmill Engineering Co is a progressive business with an eye on new developments and technology that can offer a design and service second to none.
